Ringo Válvulas has recently supplied an important order for the Air Separation Unit of a Methanol Plant.
Scope of the supplied goods is detailed below:

• 4 nos off  Angle Control valves SS316 with Monel cladding sized 12” and 20”, 600#.
• 2 nos off cryogenic service Globe Control valves with fast stroking time, 14” and 8” for the cold box.
• 2 nos off warm service Globe Control valves 14” and 10” low pressure.

Service challenges and Ringo Solutions

Due to that critical pressure drop with gas, Ringo used Special multistaging solution of multicyl + diffuser plates to ensure low velocities of the medium.
A special hookup system was used to ensure stroking times less than 2 seconds where required.
For the valves in Cryogenic service, Ringo designed and tested the valves for a service temperature down to -196ºC.
